WisR secures its second round of financing

- Six-figure investment supports the generational exchange of skills on the labour market
- Previous Angels and new investors confirm the mission of HR start-ups

Vienna - WisR connects Senior Talents – people over the age of 59 – with companies of every size, offering added value for both sides in a rapidly changing work environment suffering from a shortage of skilled workers. The start-up, which was founded in Vienna, recently launched in Germany and has now secured a second round of financing in the mid six-figure range. WisR’s mission is to bring inspiring Senior Talents and companies together and is being supported by all previous Angels from the first financing round. Additional investment is coming from, among others, Andreas Mihalovits, the founder of the Global Super Angels Club, another German Angel from the HR-Tech sector, and the US-based Micro Venture Capital Fund, Magic, from Thomas Schranz.

Professionally connecting generations

WisR helps companies benefit from motivated Senior Talents, aged 59 and over, who have a lot of life and work experience. The job platform connects people who want to work beyond retirement age with companies who in turn gain greater access to a valuable workforce, especially for project-based work or part-time jobs. Senior Talents benefit from simple, interesting, and meaningful activities which create new challenges for them.

WisR also offers an internal solution for retired employees and their companies called WisRConnected. This allows employers to stay in touch with former employees who can be quickly contacted for future projects.
